Do You Know Your Role in #Bullying? Find out here….

Have you ever questioned why or how certain individuals are in higher level positions than you or your counterparts? What makes it worse, is that those women or men are considered ‘bitches’, #bullies or ‘bastards’ by those around them. Unfortunately it happens every day – nasty people climb the ranks while effective, hard working people don’t.

There is a sobering statistic out there that states ‘96% of American employees experience bullying in the workplace’, according to David Maxfield, coauthor of the books Crucial Conversations and Influencer.96% ! I would like to say I am shocked by that statistic, but I am not. When I consider my own past role in, and other managers (from lower management to C-level) around me; that number, sadly, makes sense.

More often than not, women (and men) never realize or admit to themselves that their attitude, their way about doing things, or their leadership style, is negatively impacting their success. And even if you have or are climbing that corporate ladder, entrepreneur world, or engaging in the community, if you are known for being a #meanboss, #bully or any other curt term….,  it will catch up with you.

I want to help you prevent that, but it takes YOU asking yourself some tough questions, one being: Are you a #bully or straight up, known as a corporate bitch 0r bastard– hurting those around you, hurting your career, goals and dreams, and more importantly hurting YOU?

Respond YES or NO to each of the following statements. If you answer ‘Yes’ to one or several of the following statements, you may possess a negative attitude or bully persona that is holding you back and keeping you from the riches of life you deserve.

v Make note of the date you take the assessment

v Make note of your responses

v Commit to change any Yes responses to No over time.

v Come back to the test several months down the road, and reassess.

v Focusing on your bitches: fear, insecurity, doubt, negativity, will help you shed them to obtain riches.
